Airline message optimalisation

Since many years, millions messages in many different message-types are being sent between airlines en reservation systems, groundhandlers, other airlines and various different providers.

These messages are sent as so-called TTY (Teletype) or Type-B messages, which are a-synchronous messages (i.e. no response expected). Traditionally, there are only two companies that act as message brokers for such messages, SITA and ARINC. Many airlines still use these providers and pay a lot of money for this service.

Cost optimisation is possible in most cases, in some cases to well over 50% reduction in TTY message costs.

FortyPhi Consultancy can advise your airline on cost reduction, either on a fixed-fee basis, an hourly rate, or a no-cure-no-pay deal where a percentage of the saved costs is agreed as the fee for FortyPhi Consultancy as a reward.
